Free workshops for small food businesses

Northern Ireland district councils, in partnership with the safefood Knowledge Network, are hosting free food safety workshops for small food businesses.

The workshops will take place from 10am to 2:30pm on:

• Tuesday 14 May 2024 in Belfast (fully booked)
• Wednesday 15 May 2024 in Cookstown (fully booked)
• Tuesday 21 May 2024 in Omagh
• Wednesday 22 May 2024 in Enniskillen

These workshops will provide up to date training on:

• pest control
• controlling food poisoning bacteria
• cleaning and sanitation
• HACCP and record keeping for small food business
• managing and labelling food allergens

Participants will get a chance to engage with an experienced food safety trainer/auditor and network with other small food businesses from the local area.

The safefood Knowledge Network is a community of over 2,000 professionals working in food businesses, environmental health, regulatory agencies, public health, food testing laboratories, research and education. It is 91香蕉黄色视频ed by an expert group drawn from industry, research and public health.
