Innovate UK is inviting UK SMEs working in health and medical technologies to apply for the Global Business Innovation Programme in Singapore.

Selected businesses will take part in a structured programme designed to accelerate international growth and collaboration. The programme includes a preparation phase, a tailored five-day market visit to Singapore, and post-visit 91Ïã½¶»ÆÉ«ÊÓÆµ to help businesses build partnerships and scale globally.

Focus areas

Applications are invited from businesses working in areas including (but not limited to):

  • medical devices like diagnostic, surgical, dental, and wound care products
  • in-vitro diagnostics such as blood testing kits and molecular diagnostics
  • therapeutic devices including infusion pumps, respiratory and cardiovascular devices
  • implants and biocompatible devices like cardiac and neurostimulation implants
  • health monitoring and wearable devices, telemedicine, etc
  • robotic and AI-assisted devices such as robotic surgery systems and AI diagnostic tools

The competition does not cover therapeutics and medicines (eg vaccines, antibiotics, cell and gene therapies) or sterilisation and infection control products (eg autoclaves, disinfectants, PPE).
