New statutory payment rates for 2025-26
New rates for statutory payments in force from April 2025.
Employers should be aware that from April 2025, a number of statutory payment rates will increase for the 2025-26 financial year.
All rates listed below will increase from Sunday 6 April 2025.
Statutory Maternity, Paternity, Adoption, Shared Parental and Parental Bereavement Pay
The Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay, Statutory Shared Parental Pay, Statutory Adoption Pay, and Statutory Bereavement Pay will all increase from 拢184.03 to 拢187.18 per week.
Statutory Sick Pay
The Statutory Sick Pay will increase from 拢116.75 to 拢118.75 per week. The lower earnings limit will rise from 拢123 to 拢125.
Statutory Redundancy Payment
The maximum limit for Statutory Redundancy Payment will increase from 拢729 to 拢749 a week. The maximum Statutory Redundancy Payment payable will increase to 拢22,470.
Limit for unfair dismissal
The limit on compensatory award for unfair dismissal increases from 拢115,341 to 拢118,455.
