As the Christmas season approaches, Trading Standards Service (TSS) reminds businesses to display prices clearly
The Department for the Economy鈥檚 Trading Standards Service (TSS) reminds businesses to clearly display their prices, in preparation for the holiday season.
By law, prices must be:
- easy to read
- clear
- easily identifiable
- inclusive of VAT
These requirements also apply to items displayed in shop windows, except for a single piece of jewellery, precious metal or a watch priced over 拢3,000.
