Ban on selling single-use vapes from 1 April 2025
The DAERA has announced disposable vapes will no longer be sold or distributed in Northern Ireland.

Future regulations will ban the selling and distribution of single-use vapes in Northern Ireland.
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs has announced the ban aims to be implemented by 1 April 2025.
This measure is in line with the UK's efforts to address the increasing number of single-use vapes discarded or littered each week.
A working group of representatives from Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales has been established to advance their respective legislative proposals.
